A young woman from Serbia, who died today as she was parasailing in Budva, Montenegro, reportedly got detached from the cable and fell into the water from a great height.

According to the police, the young woman fell from a height of 50 meters!

The police told RTCG that, for now, they do not have any more details about this accident and that the investigation is ongoing.

Parasailing is a recreational activity that involves a person wearing a parachute (called a parasail) and getting pulled by a boat, usually over sea or lake.

When the boat accelerates, the person is lifted into the air and flies above the water, attached to a cable connected to the boat.

At this time, it is not clear whether the young woman accidentally or intentionally detached herself from the cable.
