The director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Petar Petkovic, says it is known what can be the topics of the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, and that Belgrade will not allow the opening of new ones that have no place in that dialogue.

In a post on X late on Monday, Petkovic stressed that another attempt by Besnik Bislimi, the main Pristina negotiator, to attack Belgrade has failed.

"I am on my way to Brussels with my team, where tomorrow we have scheduled meetings in preparation for tripartite talks, as the EU itself stated today. Another attempt by Bislimi to attack Belgrade has failed once again! The Serbian side is always present in the dialogue. We know what the topic of the dialogue can be, just as we know that we will not allow Pristina to abuse the dialogue mechanism to open topics that have absolutely no place in the dialogue," Petkovic wrote.

Earlier in the day, Bislimi told the Pristina media that he raised "a number of important topics" in a meeting with European Union's envoy for dialogue Peter Sorensen in Brussels and added that a trilateral meeting was supposed to be held on Monday, but that the team from Belgrade was "delayed in arriving in Brussels."
